RS6 Avant NOT PLUS reg No. OE54 PYG Avus 2005 5k miles. Currently on Audi used car locator at £52k. Any comments on the asking price. Is anyone out there with a similar car that they may wish to sell.

Thanks guys

I am going to cut a whole in the roof and use it as a skip or fill it up with water and use it as a fish tank  Joking aside the DB9 has been the most problematic car I have ever owned and I will be glad when its gone.

may I ask why it's a lemon? My wife was going to buy one!!

Only thing I'd say about the price is that any price is too high - why not try an offer of 49k...
RS4 B5. Where it all started.
RS6+ Never to be replaced.
Replaced by: 997 Turbo. Didn't like.
Replaced by RS6. I like(d).
Land Rover Defender. Not as nippy.
Back with C6 RS6
And again C7 RS6

In the 7 1/2 months that I have owned it the car has been in the work shop on various occasions for a total of 5 months having warranty work carried out.

£52k sounds slightly high. Go for £49k then get an MTM Stage 1 upgrade. You will then not miss the performance of the DB9.

just wondered why you were moving from 6 to 4? I'm looking to change to RS6 next year, so making some initial tentative research!

cheers

Well the simple truth is that i use the car for work, (im a doctor responding to RTA's etc) and i dont like the gearbox, and its a bit big. Ferocious car but i felt myself missing the size of my S4 and the manual gearbox.

Sorry Rob but I don't think I can hold out until Xmas.

Maybe. Although I was planning to get the non plus upgraded to the 520bhp mark using the price difference between the plus and non plus to cover the cost. Perhaps you could PM more details of your car with an idea what your asking price would be.

Nice to talk to you on the phone Gordon. Sorry but I am not to keen on the cognac trim. ATB with selling the car.
