RS6 OEM Phone prep

Hi, my RS6 has no phone prep and I've just installed an Audi OEM BT kit and would like to put the Audi mic into the center lighting dome.

I'm pretty sure that there is a mic housing in the lighting section of the dome, anyone with a phone prep should be able to see a grill there, can anyone onfirm the part number for me so I can order one. I have ETOS and I've looked it up, but just want to make certain.

Obviously there are 2 colour differences, mine is siler and the dark ones are soul black. But I can work that out from the part number and ETOS

I wanted to retro-fit the full proper phone that fits into the centre armrest. Spoke to my local dealer about sourcing parts, etc, and they virtually told me to sod off as it wasn't possible to retro-fit!! Audi's biggest problem is its dealers, but thats another thread.... Anyway, if you have a list of what is requ'd and how to do it, please let me know....

Ok, 2 stages really....


I have only completed stage 1 and I'm very happy with it



Basic BT enabling kit....

BT Module 8P0 862 335 C
Microphone
BT antenna
Wiring loom ( Kufatec.de)
RNS-E with fw 0360 (2005_2 disk)

Second stage with cradle and antenna

Phone prep Universal cradle A3/A4
GSM telphone amp
GSM antenna (Should be fitted already)
Cable betwen the amp and antenna
Cradle for your phone ( dependant on make )
