I have to say that even though i'd had this actual car as a demo for a couple of days in March, it feels so much nicer to drive now its mine
Good news is that the dealer decided to throw in a Snooper S4 & Sony Eric integrated Bluetooth car kit, along with some rubber overmats & my 1st service (due in 3500 miles) totally free of charge which was a major bonus & the Snooper could well be a license saver.
Started driving the car in Sports Mode for a while yesterday & there is quite some difference in performance from the standard mode, although i did notice the engine braking was more severe in Sports mode, but after a while i'll either get used to it, or drive the car a little better.
Couple of negative points i found on the car are some what appears to be dye staining on the lower rear part of the front drivers seat. Its a blueish colour & the dealers valeting team have tried with a variety of products in vain to remove it fully (have improved it slightly though), but they are looking into the probability of replacing that portion of the seat. Only other noticables are a few scratches on the door sills & sill trims (RS6 Plate) & a few other minor scrathes on the front wing & a couple of the wheeel arches. Once i have some time, i'll attack all these with some decent wax, which should help. These scratches are only very minor, but after paying just over £50K for this car, i'm probably gonna be more anal & protective about this car than my previous S8.
The front wheels were very tatty (very bad scrapes, scratches & curbing) after she'd been used for a variety of demo's in her early weeks & i'd requested these be sorted before i collected the car, well the dealer did an excellent job on these & they look brand new
Thats about it for now, as i'm going out to play again. I'll take some photos later in the week, following her fettling & post them up.
Have a great rest of the weekend & enjoy this weather
