Hi guys. Through a competition in a national newspaper I have won a 'Driving Experience' day at Silverstone with Audi [img]images/graemlins/jump_clap.gif[/img]. As you probably already know this gives you the chance to brush up on your driving skills in some of Audi's top performance cars including the RS6, S4 Avant and 3.2 TT. I just wondered if anyone else had been on this day and how they got on, and also if anyone could give me some prior warning as to what to expect from the mighty RS6 as I only drive a 200bhp A4 1.8T non Quattro. Really looking forward to this day as Ive only ever dreamed of driving an RS6 since seeing one fly round Castle Combe at Audi International, now I'll get the chance to drive one at Silverstone

Glad to see that some of you are also going to give it a go, i'll certainly report back as to how I get on, think im going to book up for the 17th September.

I've got mine booked for 24th March! [img]images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] Sorry, I'd already booked before I saw there was mention of a group day otherwise I'd have joined in.

I'll let you know how I get on, and what to expect, although I can tell you what to expect from the RS 6 - hit the kickdown switch and it goes like a rocket, but corners like one too though! You can play throttle-off oversteer, but you need two big hairy ones to ask nearly two tonnes of front-heavy metal to dance at high speed with the ESP off...

Had 5 laps in one at Bedford Autrodrome - awesome down the main straight, but loads of understeer on the twisty stuff - keep the ESP on and you'll find it hard to get her out of shape.
