Not sure when production is to cease, I guess they will wait until sales start dropping off, I would guess next year as the new A6 will be due

As for lead times I would guess around 6 weeks would be a reasonable time, unless the delaer can find one unsold on the dealer network, it just depends on the spec and colour you had in mind

I believe the current RS6 will run upto 18 months after the model A6 model is released - cant remember exactly though sorry.

Im sure that the Quattro Line in B6 is now totally for Gallardo [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
With maybe the occasional RS6 thrown in [img]images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

Dealer told me production stops at week 19 for the sedan and 32 for the Avant - sedan first because they are tooling up the production facility for the new A6 and the Avant is staying on until the new A6 Avant is launched

That should firm prices up temporarily

Speaking to sales guy at Docklands Audi yesterday who had just returned from an A6 launch trip in Germany and he reckoned the RS6 was finishing in July for the UK but would continue into late 2005 for overall production.
