New car = Bad deal

Here is the choice that the dealer has offered. A new S4 to replace the one I rejected. No cost to me.

Since I have half on finance which I have paid for 4 months they will just zero invoice the finance company and i'll carry on paying as usual. Great...except I don't want another faulty S4.

Option 2. Stick the S4 and have the RS6. This was my choice and all was going well.

They even found me a black with black interior languishing at another dealer.

Then the problem started.

I broached the subject of discount.

They are allowing the full purchase price of the s4 against it but will give no discount on the RS6.

If I decide on this route I will insist on my first choice of Mugello blue and a factory order.

Then they tell me that the finance will have to be settled and taken out again on the RS6. How much will that cost??

If I took the S4 but sold it straight away without actually taking delivery how much would I get?

I could then settle the finance and either go to broadspeed or another dealer to deal.

Think I'd ask for full refund and become a cash buyer.

Yep, agree 100% with Thorney, they've agreed to give you a replacement new vehicle so they're owning up to the first one being a dud.

Tell 'em you want a full refund and then go to whatever dealer you want to and get your RS6.

I didn't have a trade-in and I got a discount even though I was using Audi's finance on the car too

I thought if you rejected something then that meant you were entitled to the refund. All the other stuff is just trying to keep your business.
