I'm very unhappy to report that the one at Smith Knight Fay for £64,995 is mine
It hasn't gone yet but they have seen fit to put it on their web site.
However, on a more positive note, I definitely intend to get another one in maybe 9-12 months time

you mut be quite pleased at the price.. I suppose that the dealer is looking to make a margin, but I suppose that you should get most of your money back!!

In the end it has gone back to the dealer I bought it from, Listers in Coventry and they have given me the full purchase price including the extras [img]images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
I'm now on the hunt for a nice low mileage RS4.
But......I'm ordering another new RS6 [img]images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]...then hopefully, by the time it is due for delivery, I'll be able to afford to keep it [img]images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]

u sure the nogaro rs6 isn't an s6?

I've just learnt today that Listers sold my "old" RS6 to some guy who was changing from a Merc. He has since brought it back again because of the "ride quality".
They also told me that they are starting to see a "softening" in resale values and they expect prices to be around £55K within a couple of months.
There are currently 32 RS6's for sale within the Audi dealer network (only 3 saloons though) and a couple of those are already at £55K.

Quite right John,
Audi have upped production to bring the waiting list down from 6 months to 3 months. Apparantly people are put off by such a long wait.. 3 months is more acceptable.

One of the newpapers was quoting a residual valuve of 65% after 3 years.. not as good as RS4, but much better than your average car that is often around the 50% to 45% mark after 3 years.
