The damage is bad guys..........

Post by Neale » Wed May 21, 2003 12:09 pm

Its worse than we thought it appears that my super duper highly developed RS 6 engine has dropped a couple of exhaust valves!!!!!! The powers that be are investigating as we speak (to be fair theyre on to it!) But guess what theyve given me a A8 (old model) 2.8 as a courtesy car......Fat exective or what???????? I've changed the engine on my RS 4 , I was luckey we made 1/3 Audi, 1/3 dealer and 1/3 me. (A new RS 4 engine costs 28.000 euros! )

Made a mistake at the RS 4 driver's challenge ,
changed gear, from 4-2, had to much rpm (about 12.000 )
I haven't noticed anything (no less power) until one morning, heared a funny noice by starting my car. Went to the dealer: "Something is wrong with your cylinders!"
After having had many coversations, we phoned Audi for a new engine, they said they don't have any RS 4 engines.
:-( So I phoned agian and again, until they found one: Cosworth UK :-)!
Got the new engine!!: have a look at the gallery photos!!
And I'm very happy!
