Water pump under manifold

Post by bilko1 » Wed Dec 11, 2024 4:21 pm

Does anyone have access to the wiring diagram to the after run pump under the manifold? I'm in the process of changing it but would like to test the new one before putting the manifold back on as it's a pita. There are only 2 wires going to the pump but there are a lot of electronics within the pump so don't want to fire 12 volts through it and let the magic smoke out.

Thanks that looks right and wiring colours match. I wonder what all the elecronics in the pump housing are for?

The pump is designed to shut off after 10 minutes. I'm guessing they just put the timer in the pump so that it receives the off signal from the relay and continues to run for 10 minutes thereafter then shuts itself off without a signal from the ECM.
