Scottish Winter. Car Hibernation

Post by cover99 » Sat Nov 02, 2024 6:09 pm

Afternoon all.

With the Winter approaching quickly.. Certainly up here in Scotland, The car is tucked away for the Winter.

Had the car for 5 years and a big thanks has to goto the forum members who post their issues and resolutions to the problems here :beerchug: . Without alot of lurking on here picking up advice i am sure i would have been stuck on many occasions. One of the rare times she is out and about. And tucked up on axle stands for the Winter. Thanks again to all who contribute here for the C5 platform. :notworthy: Steven

I got garage envy.

Put some rodent killer down. Pesky blighters can cause havoc knawing through cables etc.

Beautiful clean example

My one is used only in dry conditions; otherwise, it sits in storage. The advantage of living in the west of Ireland is that there is no salt on the roads, so I will reasonably take her out even during the winter.
