While refurbishment the underside the handbrake cables <beep> themselves taking the bottom arms off and the ratchets extended all the way out and won't adjust back.

Can the cables be replaced from removing the center console or do I need to drop the heatshield and exhaust to get at where they connect.

Can someone tell me how the cables come out the bracket connected the handbrake.

Do I need to knock the tabs at the side ?
