Where to get all suspension arms and bushes
Where to get all suspension arms and bushes
I am going to be replacing all suspension bushes and arms front and rear shortly but I have had problems in the past with getting the wrong parts even when it says it will fit the c5 rs6.
Where's best to source all the arms and bushes I need.

Re: Where to get all suspension arms and bushes
Just replaced all the fronts on mine with these. Good OEM quality and fitted perfectly.

Re: Where to get all suspension arms and bushes
I had the rears done and just had the originals powder coated and the bushes replaced. It was rather pricey. I think the arms were £800 each from Audi or some other ridiculous figure then and I don't think there were any rears on autodoc.
Has anyone got part codes for them?
There's a lot of stuff listed on autodoc now and some of the arms seem to do front and rear.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for viewtopic.php?f=2&t=106104&hilit=meyle+ ... nsion+arms
Avus Avant, RNS-E mk2 with sds and Bluetooth, Milltek, Hotchkis, Bilstein, Forge, ITG, A.C.E, Wagner, FBMFSW, MTM.
Re: Where to get all suspension arms and bushes
Phoned Awesome GTI for a quote on some powerflex bushes comes in at nearly £1000. I have also emailed AutoDoc to see if they can price it up as there is loads of choices on the website and didnt want to get the wrong ones.
Re: Where to get all suspension arms and bushes
Be careful with the lemforder kits for the front. The lower arms supplied are not correct for the RS6. They are available from Autodoc, but need to be ordered separately.
What I bought from AD:
Front arm set 3553701 Lemforder
Lower arms 45958 Febi Bilstein (these are AD part numbers)
Make sure you confirm the part numbers are correct for yourself!

Re: Where to get all suspension arms and bushes
I use LLL Parts website for parts diagrams and numbers, have bought a few things off them in the past.
Audi tradition have a few things in stock for the RS6, but parts are thin on the ground for them

Re: Where to get all suspension arms and bushes
Just looked at LLL Parts looks good. It's what I was after for diagrams and part numbers so cheers mate
Re: Where to get all suspension arms and bushes
Out of interest, what was the issue with the Lemforder lower arms? Mine looked the same and fitted ok, since been 4 wheel aligned and all seems good.Felix2566 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 12:17 pmBe careful with the lemforder kits for the front. Re: Where to get all suspension arms and bushes
From memory they are a tiny bit shorter (the non RS specific part number) , I'm sure I put them side by side and there was a noticeable difference.
But if yours has aligned up ok maybe its not true. The part number is different between the RS and the lower models, maybe it's the bush material rather than the physical dimensions
