Just bought & fitted 4 of these & re-enabled TPMS on my instrument panel, all worked a treat!

TX-S001 Direct Fit TPMS Sensor (https://tpmszone.co.uk/product/tx-s001- ... ms-sensor/), bought via their eBay store, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/234170833209, £89.99 inc P&P for the 4.

I drove for 20min & still had the big warning on the top 1/3rd MFD, I had a poke around the menus & spotted that I could set the pressures, set the pressures & drove off again. Within about 5min the full height Check Tyre Pressure warning came up, right enough the back right was very soft.

The new TPMS were fitted at the same time as getting 4 new Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6's fitted, nice big rim guard on them, no rubbing that I can see so far.

That’s a great find. Nice one. I’ll put it in the FAQ.

Excuse my ignorance, but does this only work if the car came from the factory with TPMS or is it a retro fit and can be activated in the software?

Oh ok thanks
Might buy 4 of these and get them fitted. Very handy feature to have working.

Yeah, I'd definitely want working TPMS sensors in a 150+ mph car.

If you don't have them then some previous owner might have coded them out. You'll need a Vagcom to code them back in.

I have Vagcom, will have a play about and see what I can find.
1 of the tires went flat a while ago with no warning. So I'm guessing either no working sensors or like you say its been coded out.

If the TPMS isn't working for whatever reason, and it isn't coded out, then you will get a nag warning on the dash every time you start.

Have a look through the DIS menu to see if there's anything TPMS related in there. If it's coded out there shouldn't be.

I'll be back with the car this weekend, and I'll have a proper look. I have never had any warnings, so suspect it's been coded out.

Just bought 4 of these.
Will have them fitted to the RS4 B7 Le Mans alloys I recently purchased.
Alloys away for powder coating at the moment.

Hi Ben
Hopefully something similar.
Many thanks for your help.
Ps not my car. Similar alloys.

RS4 B7 Audi Le Mans alloys
19x9
Et 29
Perfect fit. No spacers or spigot rings.

Ooh. Those look quite good. My alloys are a bit sad looking. How much do a set of 4 normally go for?

Hi suz. I have been after a set for ages then these came up in gloss black with 1 wheel needing a refurb.
The et on my original wheels was 35. Very close fitting with the front brake caliper.
These are et 29 so stick out a further 6 mm giving extra clearance on the front caliper.
The best bit.
A direct fit no spacers or spigot rings required.

When doing the test fit it was evident that all wheels required powder coating. So opted for a colour change.
Don’t get me wrong the wheels were in great condition but they were not perfect.
There are a few on eBay for sale but genuine Audi RS4 B7 Le Mans with the right et are far and few between.
I paid £550 and £250 for powder coating
I won’t install them until I get some new rubber.
I love them.
