Post by pwack » Mon Oct 02, 2023 6:54 pm

Hello Gents

Can anyone assist in identifying a cable loom , I did mark it up when I removed it when strippng the engine down but the label has come off and cant remeber for the life of me where it goes , have alook at the pics , theres a 3pin plug on one end then on the other end theres a single connector plug and a double connector plug.On the single plug end theres a plate to bolt it somewhere.

Hello , Just a follow up as I have now identified the loom , its the Oil Pressure switch and Alternator plug, this plugs into a plug that should be located on the top of the engine by cylinder 1 coil pack , front cylinder on left hand bank as you look at the front of the car.

The metal bracket on the little sub loom secures to cylinder 1 coil pack bolt nearest the front of the engine.

FWIW, I struggled to remember that one too, when I had my car apart.
