Heater fan/motor stopped working

All controls in the car light up and work ( fan speed +/-) but heater fan/motor doesn't actually start up.
Internal fuses all showing good, but is there any other fuses for the heater fan hidden away anywhere ?
Can't get to my Bentley manual for a week so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Check the following fuses:
Number 15 (10A)
Number 25 (30A)
Number 26 (30A)
Number 5 (10A)
If it's none of those then get a scope on the motor connections to see if any signal is getting to it. It's probably PWM so you might not get a meaningul reading with a multimeter. Still worth trying, though, if that's all you've got.

Also, check to see if the fan spins freely.

Thanks Shopp.
All four fuses you mentioned are ok.
'PWM' meaning ?
I was even able to do a scan with
VCDS , but the log didn't copy onto a flash drive !!! even though i opened 'location' and it showed me it in there.( its not on the laptop either)
I'll charge the car at the weekend and do another scan.

PWM = Pulse Width Modulation. It means the 12v is pulsed at different frequencies to get different motor speeds. Looking at pics of the motor it looks like you might be able to power it directly to see if it spins.
There's a fan controller J126 between the climatronic and the fan.
New fans on Autodoc aren't very expensive.

If that's not it, then it could be your climatronic unit. That would be a PITA.
Connect to the HVAC with the
Vagcom and run the output tests to see if you can get the fan to blow.
