Saw this last night. It's a really useful video on the chain tensioner system. This guy had bother with the adjustment being out as the solenoid wasn't operating on one bank as it turned out.

I sympathise with his dilemma, but ultimately it's got to be OE quality parts. Rockauto do them much cheaper than the stealer.

Nice clear explanation of how the system works, I didnt realise that it was tensioner and timing adjustment at the same time.

The Vaico adjusters/tensioners I found are good.
