Might anyone know if there are any difference between the rs bonnet and the regular A6?

The RS6 bonnet is all aluminium. Don’t think that’s the case for the A6. Only the V8 A6 bonnets night actually fit.
Check the parts catalogue to see if any V8 A6 bonnets have the same part number.

What he said, the RS6 bonnet is Aluminum and shares it with the facelift A6 4.2, all of the other A6 Bonnet's are Steel.
