And it finally begins
And it finally begins
Left knee replacement before ankle fusion or replacement.
I can honestly say the pain of a knee replacement is out there. They are so cruel

I know a few people who have had that - a tough op, but a good outcome for them all, I hope yours recovers well too. Make sure you do all your physio, properly!
What's the sensor that looks to be connected in the 2nd photo? I think it's a sensor of some sort and not just a drain?

Thanks guys,
It's a vacuum dressing. It sucks all the blood and fluid out of the wound so it can heal quicker. It's the first I have heard of it. They changed it 3 times before it started to dry up.
Physio is happening. I was up standing within 4 hours of the OP. Cruel buhgers

You pussy. I stubbed me finger the other day and the nails now peeling off, I bet your pain is nothing compared to mine.
Seriously, that looks horrific. Good luck with the recovery.

Thanks Steve,
Pain is <beep> but pushing through with the physio. A lot of people say if you don't do all the physio and get full movement shortly after the surgery, you won't ever get full movement back.

I’d agree with that. My mother in law didn’t and didn’t.
