I arranged the group buy that got the PA FMIC off the ground for the Fiat Coupe 20vt back in the day. It was an immaculate bit of kit and if their standards are still as good as they were back then I’d have no concerns over the quality of the product. 😎
Never realised you were a FCCUKer. Me too (used to be a Mod on Kayjeys site too)
Lol, small world. Did you used to post under Nobby, I certainly remember the name? I posted as OO7, I’m still able to log in and to this day I still think it was the best forum I’ve ever used. I absolutely adored my Coupe, I brought it in my early 20s stock and kept it for around 8 years using it as a daily modding it to 325bhp. I eventually sold it to fund setting up my own electrical installation company.

Yeah I’m Nobby from there too. Used to have a Scott’s Green 20vt - owned for 10 years. Ended up having kids, breaking my foot, then hurting my knee pretty bad whilst the MOT ran out. Then bought the RS6. Took the coupe apart and sold it.

So pro alloy have been inundated with emails from people Al around the world about this radiator.

They are just putting together final figures but expect it to be around £1k mark for buying.

They are also wanting somebody with an C5 S6 rad to help for development on that car to.

What would be the effect of installing the pro alloy rad without the integrated gearbox cooler.
Please forgive my ignorance.
I would like to install a new rad.
But don’t know what the compromise is.
Eg do you have to install another cooler for the gearbox

From memory, it helps bring the transmission up to temperature as well as cooling once it gets hot.

You don’t have to install another cooler as the car does run 2 gearbox oil coolers from factory.

Hi guys. I feel like a proper dumbo.
Apparently my radiator does not have the built in gearbox oil cooler.
Just bought new under rad oil cooler
New front discs
New small 280 mm coolant fan
About to buy large 360mm coolant fan
So funds are getting low at the moment.
When this is all sorted I will then look again at the radiator.

To all the people that want the radiator with the interstates gearbox oil cooler I have news for you.
I have now swapped my rads over and send the original to pro alloy so they can now work on/out how to integrate the gearbox oil cooler. I’m sure it won’t be to long until they will be able to sell them👌🏼
