Does anyone know of a thread on how to replace the Bufkin pipe with the engine still in the car?

Hi Mate
I’ve done it with the engine in, it’s not too hard just a bit fiddly at times. Remove the front bumper, drivers side headlamp and put the front end in the service position remove your alternator and drivers side intercooler, oil cooler pipes and there’s also a metal coolant pipe I think that you need to loosen and move. There’s six Allen key bolts that hold it on. Make sure you’ve got a really good quality allen key as one of the top ones is a sod and you don’t want to risk rounding it off, if you do then it will definitely be engine out. I think it’s a 7mm allen key, I used my snap on one which did the job no probs. I’ve attached some of the pics from when I did mine. It was a few years ago now that I did it so I might have forgot about some things but this gives you a starting point. This was all done in a day.

I think if this can be refined with pictures to match the instructions this could go in the info post.
