Ok, so what are we talking about when you say the subframe too, just the 4 bushes? How tricky is it to remove the sun frame from my position?

I’ve finally managed to separate the hubs, bearings, bushes and speed sensor from the carriers. Now all that’s left is to lis everything and get it all off to the powder coaters and platers. 😬😎

An assortment of nuts and bolts back from the platers. They’ve not all turned out as well as I would like but I’ll replace the ones I’m not happy with. 👍

Brakes are going off to Godspeed tomorrow. They’ve got a long wait time but the cars not going anywhere and I’d rather have a powder coat finish. 👍

It's amazing how powdercoating can restore what otherwise appears to be a bit of junk, isn't it.

Absolutely. Can’t wait to get it all fitted. Brakes are still with GodSpeed, went with OEM black.

Just need a little bit of welding done, then I can repaint the arch’s before refitting the liners.

I’m booked up with work until October now, however I’m hoping once I’ve got all the bits and bobs it shouldn’t take too long to put back together. With any luck she might be back on the road around End of September. 👍

I don’t consider the RS a “summer car”. Id be happy to just see it sitting on its wheels again. 🤪
