Bilstein B16 Suspension

Post by P11LLP » Fri Sep 02, 2022 1:51 pm

Hi everyone :bigwave:

I’ve had my 2003 RS6 Saloon for just a few weeks now and I was just looking for some recommendations for the best set up on the adjustable Bilstein B16 Suspension I have had fitted to it, I have been told it has been put to its highest ride hide (I just don’t know what harshness it has been set to until I get it on a ramp) and it just feels too harsh over any imperfections in the road…
I appreciate any help you can provide me! :)

Set the height to what you like and each shock to number 4. Anything higher than 4 and you will need to get a subscription for underpants because the rear end will start to step out on fast corners.

I have mine set at approximately OE height and at 4 all round.

Also FON.
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

Thanks ‘Shoppinit’ for the advice!
I shall set them to all to *4* when I get chance and see how it feels.
Ahahhaahah I defo don’t want to be buy a subscription for underpants and the rear end stepping out on me😂.
ATM it grips like mad going round a fast bend and I’d like to keep it like that👍🏻
