ABS & Traction Control - Intermittent Warning Lights.

Post by maxpedals » Sun Aug 07, 2022 10:55 am

Just as the car goes on the market it typically throws up a new problem!

Car starts fine, then after a while driving (no specific reason from what I can gather) both the ABS and TC lights come on in orange.

The pedal feel changes a bit, could that be the ABS stopping temporarily?

The lights tend to stay on for the rest of the journey, but a quick restart removes the lights until they appear again randomly.

Any ideas before I get VCDS / diagnostics looked at?

Could be an intake leak. You had the airbox off recently?

Nope but I did notice one of the top intake pipes looked a bit compressed so I'll have a look.
