Waterless coolant.

Post by steve2003rs6 » Sat Jun 04, 2022 8:47 am

Meant to ask this a while ago.
Is anyone using waterless coolant?
Just watching wheeler dealers Ed china using it.
Good for -40 to +180 and once installed it’s good for life and no corrosion.

Cheers Matt. Good video mate.
I guess I won’t be using waterless coolant!
Sounded like a good idea.
But in practical terms not so.

good video, waterless coolants are glycol-based liquid substances that have a much higher boiling point than water-based coolants. Waterless coolants are corrosion resistant and its boiling point is 190 degrees Celsius. These types of coolants also work as anti-freeze that protects engines to -40 degrees Celcius. I read about this on the Wheel Updates blog, and it explained in detail about waterless coolants.
