Battery tender/charger

Post by Jayjay101 » Tue May 17, 2022 10:34 am

Hi chaps
I’m looking at get a trickle charger/tender for mine now that it’s kept indoors so I don’t end up with a flat/f##led battery and I’m not sure what to look for? I’ve got one on my Harley but that’s a Harley one. Many thanks

CTEK. No brainer.

MXS5.0 for example.
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

I use about 6 of them and some have been on permanently for over 10 years. The only time I had one fail was when the house was hit by lightning. For some reason one of the CTEK expired (as well as a lot of other electronic stuff).

Another vote for Ctek mxs 5.0 from me.
Bought one very recently from Halfords and I am very happy with it. IIRC cost was around £80:00.

CTEK also, i stick it on bad batteries and it rejuvenates them for 2-3 months or more, fantastic thing
