Easiest way to order genuine parts
Re: Easiest way to order genuine parts
Hi I'm looking for help please - Shopp mentioned Audi Tradition has the part I require which is -
4B0919281A5PR
The problem is they won't ship to the UK due to brexit..
Is there anyone here that lives in Germany that I could deliver to their house then they post to me in the UK?
I've tried everywhere else for one but they are either not available or damaged worse than mine.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Matt
Maybe try RS components in Germany and see if they have a good quality secondhand one or see if they would order from Audi tradition for you and then just charge you some sort of admin fee and the postage.

Matty. Is this one on eBay any good ?
Re: Easiest way to order genuine parts
It looks good but £100 is quite a bit especially when I'm £40 down.
I'll keep trying but may have to resort to it. Thanks for the suggestions.

This one is for an A4. It *might* be the same part. But it might not.
Maybe you could canibalise it.

/Never mind. It looks totally different.

Re: Easiest way to order genuine parts
Yeah, bought in Jan, it said it was delivered 4 weeks later but I checked my cameras and my wife was in on the day and it definitely wasn't delivered. The seller agreed to send another one. I kept my eye on the delivery and it was delivered to the UK at the end of Feb. The tracking says 'delivered to carrier in UK, delivery in 7 days'. Been like that since Feb 26 so I guess another lost. The seller stopped replying to me and ebay said I'm out of their 30 day policy so basically I've lost my money. Hate that site sometimes.Shoppinit wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 12:07 pmIs this the one you bought?

Re: Easiest way to order genuine parts
If you paid with paypal you can start a dispute for a lot longer afterwards.
Re: Easiest way to order genuine parts
Ebay don't use PayPal anymore, purchases are made through their own payment service and their terms are 30 days from delivery.
Re: Easiest way to order genuine parts
That's weird, I always use Paypal for ebay purchases.

You still can, but they prefer you to use their own service.

https://www.synetiq.co.uk/parts-breaking/ This is also worth checking as well if used might do for something that's otherwise difficult to get hold of.
Re: Easiest way to order genuine parts
Finally found and bought the genuine PDC switch after 6 months of messing about although it's cost £110 with getting swizzed on the China copy...bought a genuine blank too to complete the set.
Won't be fitting it until I replace the faulty parking sensor on the front.
I'm now looking to replace the worn plastic trim on the door arm rest, is there a site to get the part numbers for this?
