Links to parts catalogues in the FAQ.

Other than the switches, the rest of the door trim is all one part and not available separately.

Hi Ben. It’s the black plastic trim on top of the door arm rest I am after.
All scratched. Last resort will be to get them dipped.

It's this bit I need on all 4 doors:

May have a look at getting them dipped myself - tried a few breaker cars but they're all the same.

Yup. It's part of the door card. You can't get them individually. Plastidip or rub the rubber lining off to expose the smooth plastic underneath, which is quite presentable.

This link shows the armrest for sale - surely that plastic trim can be removed?

Sure, you can remove it. You can separate it by forcing it, presumably. But it’s supposed to be part of the door card.

I guess removing 4 x doorcards, 4 x armrests and 4 x that plastic isn't going to be a 2 minute job.

It annoys me so much though!

The old coating comes off with a finger nail and is a sort of gloss black underneath.

Think I'll try one at the back with plastidip and see how it turns out.

Scraped a bit off, looks a lot better.

Before (this is the rear forgot to take a before)

After with a plastic polish

Anyway don't need to source this part anymore as I'll be happy once I've done them all.

Only thing is I may want to do the window switches panel too which will be a lot of scraping!
