Front Parking Sensors

Post by MattyVRS6 » Wed Mar 23, 2022 9:01 pm

Had a Google, can only find stuff on rear sensors. Took the lower left grille off to see if I could reach up to it but that wasn't happening.

It's the ones on the corners that don't work - is it a bumper off job or has someone found an easier way?

Removing lights maybe?

Strangely VCDS says front left not working but actually front left and right don't work (listened to each sensor in reverse with engine off)

Easy enough to remove the bumper. Plenty of info in the FAQ. Check my timing belt DIY for an idea of what’s involved.

Cheers I presumed it would be a nightmare, will have a look at removing it then.

Might upgrade the horn while I'm at it, mine sounds really flat and underwhelming.
