Does anyone know what wires do what in the red engine side connector T17k?
Elsa has a different pin out for what I have on the engine loom, I’ve checked it against 3 rs6 looms I have in the workshop, all the same on the red connector… go Elsa and 7 of the wires are different and it also states can wiring is involved… can’t find any variants that have the correct diagram?
Help needed for my conversion.
Many thanks

Red engine loom connector T17k pin out?
Re: Red engine loom connector T17k pin out?
Lots of stuff going through that connector. AC, Airbags, TCU comms, fuel pump module comms.
What are you looking for exactly? Which wires are different?

Thanks for the reply, I’m after what pin 13/14 does, after some research I have managed to trace the rest, but pin 13/14 are a yellow wire and a green wire which go into a sheath then into the main wiring harness, after it comes out of the gromit for the electrical box it is with about 6/7 sheathed wires all seperate from another.
Many thanks,

Those yellow and green wires go to the TCU for CAN comms.
On the other side of the T17k connector they turn into orange/black and orange/brown respectively. They stay that colour until they get to the TCU.

Re: Red engine loom connector T17k pin out?
Ahhh makes sense, the wiring pic I was looking at was only telling me it was the orange and black can wires, does it show you exactly what it goes into for the TCU? Chances are I won’t need them as it’s a manual swap into a d2 S8
Re: Red engine loom connector T17k pin out?
Yeah. What do you need? The pins on the TCU? Looks like it might go onto a bus with potentially other CAN consumers, possibly instruments amongst others. Need to dig a bit deeper.
