These are the ones I machined up for my car. The centre bore was a nice slide on fit to the spigot.
The wheel did locate on the spigot for alignment.
They were on the car for well over a year before I bought new alloys.

The ones installed by the PO were terrible
5 slots instead of holes and the centre bore had at least half inch of clearance on centre spigot.
A nightmare to remove and refit the wheel.
I think they were a universal spacer from Halfords.

Ps. I kept one of the above spacers and original wheel with longer bolts which I still use as a spare in case of punctures.

Not a bad effort Steve but I think, once I’ve varnished mine, I made the better quality product. :drink:

Can anyone see what the differnce is between these two products, other than the price? They’re both sold by the same seller and they’re both listed as fitting the RS. I’ve tried contacting the seller and have asked the question but I’m not getting a response.

Unfortunately I can’t get hold of Verdi.

They look like exactly the same kit.

Chris. I agree yours does look better than the ones I made.
I wouldn’t do it again or recommend it to anyone.
It allowed me to remove the wheel and reinstall it at the roadside without any difficulty if I got a puncture.
But the ally spacers did oxidise over time and were a bitch to remove when replacing brake discs etc.
It was a better fix than the inherited spacers.
Eventually new alloys was the permanent solution for my problem.

Thanks Ben.

Steve, I’m not a big fan of spacers either. My ideal wheel for the RS would have been LeManns but these came up and the price was too good to say no. Hopefully a set of LeManns will fit better than the Rotors. 😎

You could always screw your spacers to the alloys. Simple matter to drill and tap a couple of holes. If it bothers you having loose spacers.

Ben. That is exactly what I was going to do and screw the spacer to the wheel.
But Like Chris. A set of alloys came up at a crazy silly price when I went to get 4 new tyres.
Fitted straight on without spacers.
Done deal.

Cost far less than a set of rubber.
I would of loved to have kept the originals. Just couldn’t live with the spacers.
Came with a brand new full set of bolts as well.
Ps ride height lowered from the above photo.
Wheel to arch is now about 1 inch.
Hey ho
Pps same wheels but that is not my car wheels in the photo. It was a Rs6 that was for sale a long while ago.

Bloody hell! Finally got the 12mm spacers fitted today and everything looked really good. Thought I’d best take it for a little run around the block to make sure the suspension has settled and that there is no rubbing. 😡 There’s rubbing going over the slightest of bumps! Top of the arch, where the screw holds the liner in place. I’ll take the screw out but I don’t think that going to be enough.

Unfortunately my coilovers have rusted to a point where I don’t think I’ll be able to lift the front end. 😢

Other than that, the car looks great. 🤪

I like the bee.

Car's too low, innit. You might have to get some wire brush action going on the threads.

Even with my (fixed height on the front) Konis that screw is long gone.

My original coil overs we all rusted up but managed to eventually free up the threads with a good wire brushing.
And allowed me to raise the car.
Then installed the bilsteins a couple of years ago which were far superior to what I inherited.
