Steve Green spare parts

Post by steve2003rs6 » Wed Nov 24, 2021 5:41 pm

Please avoid buying spare parts from this guy.
Paid £200 for door locks and a comfort control module.
Despite him confirming that he had sent them nothing arrived.
He then said he had had postal problems so he would re send the items by guaranteed next day delivery.
Still nothing.
More hassle with messages and a request for my money back.
Response was a thumbs up and I have sent them and a “we are done” message.
Says he has never had so much grief with a £200 parts order.
My response was you wouldn’t get any grief if you would just do what you say you are going to do.
So £200 out of pocket and no parts.
Now it’s time to start with PayPal and solicitors as I hate being scammed.

Logged the dispute with PayPal.
Will see what happens but not holding my breath.

Oh dear. I'm sure people have reported a mixed bag with him before?

When I initially spoke with him he seemed like a ok guy.
After transferring the funds to him on 03/11/21 it was just one excuse after another.
I will also be getting in touch with trading standards.
Thankfully it was only £200
But now it’s the principle and I just want to warn others.

Hi Matt. I wish I had known there was issues with him two weeks ago.
So I am not the only one ripped off
I wonder how many more have had problems.
As I say it wasn’t a substantial amount of money.
Just hate dishonest people who rip others off.
It’s almost worth the £200 to let forum members know the kind of person they will be dealing with.

Hi, it's so shitty to have that happen, I'm sorry to hear those news. I might be able to help with those parts. Couple of guys on this forum already bought from me and I'm trying to build up a reputation step by step.

Let me know in case it helps.

Cheers.

You’re confusing me for someone who has a functioning memory. :)

Just had a message from Steve Green.
He says I am out to ruin him on PayPal and groups.

My response was what do you expect as I won’t be lied to and I won’t be ripped off. As it stands I don’t have the parts and I don’t have my money.
Either send the parts or refund my money and I will inform PayPal and groups that this event has been amicably settled.
Don’t think I can be any fairer than that.

I have spent more money on fuel this week than the cost of these parts. As I have been running my wife all over the place for meals out and shopping.
Just love a excuse for long drives in the 6.

At last some positive news. Parts are due to arrive by 13.00 hours today.
Hopefully we can put this bad experience to bed.
