having driven it a while decked the time has come to make it more drivable.
current:
I have KW-V3 + rear rebound extensions (poking through the trim), 034 adjustable upper control arms, H&R ARB.
I will fit 8mm h&r hubcentric spacers.
My thinking is to soften the ride, raise it a touch, fit the spacers to fill the arches.
I'm hoping it won't scare the $h!t out of me anymore when I hit a bump in the road, still be planted and not scrape on speed bumps.
I'm taking it to a place that has been recommended for suspension setup and corner weighting.
I remember there are many posts on here but never got down to an exact recommendation for these coilovers. I guess I can ask them to use the current as a reference and make it less stiff.
I've been looking for the perfect refernce and closest I've found is these two:

I like how much (slightly strecthed) tyre wall you see, and the gap between tyre/arch, on the ABT.... Totally different car to mine, but the US Viper 6 isn't far off.
I'm going to the place on Friday so wondered if anyone had their 10 cents worth?
I'll post a breakdown of what we did and pics on the weekend!

For what it’s worth. Mine was set up at unit 20 when new suspension was installed. IIRC one inch from top of tyre to centre of wheel arch.
But I have seen lots of cars lower than that.
I figure unit 20 know more about these cars than I ever will. So left mine as above. I like it.

Re: ride height : raising advice
i can get my finger between the tyre and the arch at the moment so I guess I have some way to go!
for me, looks great, just not so drivable.
my SP4S are 255 on 9.5x19, if i did it again i'd get 277 for less strech. Then I think the car wouldn't need to be so low for the same look + more tyre. seeing mavada's they look great, also pretty low, perfect stance
live & learn i guess

Re: ride height : raising advice
I personally think your car looks amazing as it sits currently, but i get the issue with roads etc, we also have the same issues here in the UK with crap roads, and i also have a bit of a steep drop at the start of my drive or i would consider setting mine a bit lower
Re: ride height : raising advice
Why don't you just raise it a cm or so to see how you get on?
