Isofix fitted and my little fighter

Post by ChrisA » Sun Oct 10, 2021 5:40 pm

I just wanted to give a special thanks to Steve Green for coming up with the isofix brackets for my 6.

Not only did Steve come up with the goods on short notice, as I only found out this was a thing after the birth of my latest (and last) child, he also didn’t charge me a penny.

I’ve brought a few things from Steve before, as he has a massive amount of parts for the RS, and he’s always delivered. If you need any used parts for your 6 then I can throughly recommend giving Steve a call (07835 176599).

And now for the exciting news.

Oscar Charlie Anderson was born at 1158 on Thursday 30th September, coming out at 5lbs 9oz and delivered by C section. He was born on an elected C as he’s been a bit poorly throughout the birth, requiring a number of intrauterine transfusion.
He’s still in intensive care but he’s doing ever so well and could possibly be coming home tomorrow (in the RS6. Not a bad first ride).

I fitted new ones from T.P.S to mine and all I can say is the kids love being able to come out in Daddy’s fast grey car 🤣🤣
Congrats on the new baby, glad he’s doing well and I’m sure he’ll give you the seal of approval on the isofix 👍

Lol. Every dog he takes off the road stops some fool buying it to try and use as a daily, only to be left disappointed and slagging off the model. It also makes the ones left more valuable whilst supplementing our demands for NLA parts.

Epic 1st car ride story for the wee man later on.

My 2 sprogs had to be satisfied with a Skoda.

My trip home from the hospital was in the front seat of a Holden Kingswood, which only had lap belts....

On the way home I asked the wife “what did the boys come home in”.
She said “Archie was in a red and black stripy top that you wore when you came home from hospital as a baby and Benjie...”
“No, what car?”

Two very different priorities. 🤣

Any way, enough baby <beep> now. He’s happy, healthy and home. Thanks for your kind words and patience, I’ll get back to talking cars now. 😉

I am very jealous. Oscar has more hair than me.
And he is definitely better looking. Let’s hope he grows up loving the 6 and v8.
Start saving Chris for his first motor.

Hi guys …. Sorry to jump on this thread !
I’m struggling with this issue in my car !
I have 2 daughters - a 3 month old and 2.5 year old.
And having Isofix in back would be a god send.
Do TPS do something ? If so how does it fit ? What is part number ? I have just messaged Steve Green too.

8D0813545 is the isofix bracket. There are 2 of them.

You'll need 4 bolts too - WHT001230. Or just use some M8 x 27mm.

There are plenty on eBay for about £95 each.
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper
