RS6 C5 Secondary air pump filter

Hi Guys. I need the above for my RS6 C5 (03) Had a fault code so went for simple thing 1st. The filter was OK till I tried washing it due to advice on forums. Bad idea it practicality dissolved

Can't find a replacement anywhere

Filter NLA from what I can see, there are aftermarket pump units available. But yes, the filters go bad. I didn't even get as far as trying to wash mine, simply trying to lock it up had it falling apart.
Have you got a scanner rosstech/
VCDS?

Thanks for the reply. I made a filter from a scrambler air filter I shoulda taken a pic. I think one of my mechanics may have a Ross tech. Why do you ask?

Nice hack, I guess filter 'sponge' is filter 'sponge'. Reason for the
VCDS is that it's bloomin handy for tracking down gremlins, especially the output test capabilities.

Is Ross Tech better for Gremlins. Can get it checked with
Vag Com, launch, snap on or texa Super car. Ive got P0429 fault code. Insuficent air flow bank 1. Just got it off my 50£ Scanner lol. Went for the filter 1st. It was OK till I tried washing it
