Gearbox oil pipe fitting identification

Post by RS6Rottweiler » Wed Sep 01, 2021 11:38 am

I am looking for some help to identify the fitting that Audi use on the gearbox oil cooling system. I have 18x1.5mm one end and this on the other end so I need an adaptor to join the two, anybody got any ideas what type of fitting this is and where I might get a 18x1.5mm OG60 male to Audi fitting? This is the pipe that goes into the main radiator.

I've looked before and found nothing interesting. I think if it came to it, I'd be using the audi end and then brazing a standard union on to the pipe to create an adaptor.
Either DIY it, or the pirtek guys can do a nice job to braze together bits to create custom adaptors.

Hi Matt, Yeh, I spoke to Pirtek who made the hoses for the cooler, and they can make a new fitting to suit what I have. This has been one nightmare of a job just trying to source alternative parts
