Looking for some help sourcing the retaining clips that hold the hoses in place on the radiator as originals are rotten. Ive tried various eBay places but so far no joy. I believe they are approximately 40mm as the hoses are 40mm but a German company said they were 38mm? Has anyone any idea on exact size and where I might be able to source these wire horse shoe type retaining clips?

Yes that's them, but nobody on eBay selling them and the C5 it comes with the hose which is no longer available. I managed to source them as the 2008 RS6 has it listed as a separate part and its available as is the 'o' ring so hopefully on the way as long as the C5 is 38mm which I am told it is. If anyone is interested for future, the Part No for the Clip is: 4E0 121 142 and the 'O' Ring is: 4E0 121 666. The clips on mine were not existent due to corrosion and it was only age holding the hoses on.

Mine fell apart when I took them off for cambelt last year. Worth checking as unless replaced they will be about to perish
