Help needed with fault code

I've had the engine light come on a few times recently and every time it comes up the fault code in the picture. I clear it and its ok for afew weeks then comes back on.
Thinking of changing the N80 valve but does anyone have the part number please.

I think it's 077133517C.
But what makes you think it's the valve? Could be the carbon canister that's blocked. Or you could have a vac leak.
You can test the valve with the
Vagcom output tests. I would do that first. At the very least it'll help you locate the valve from the clicking. Assuming it works, of course.

Yes, I'm going to add this if i may - and thank anyone for any help in advance
Got these codes after fitting ITG performance air filters, anyone with any reasons as to what could be the problem are welcomed.
I may have snagged a wire or not seated the mafs properly, but not sure. There doesn't seem to be any consequences in real road use, apart from my ESP (electronic stability program?) not working now.
18265 - Load Signal (re brakes?)
P1857 - 35-00 - Error Message from ECU
16486 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70)
P0102 - 002 - Signal too Low - MIL ON
17535 - Fuel Trim; Bank 1 (Mult)
P1127 - 002 - System too Rich - Intermitten

You've probably killed your MAFs with the filter oil.

Morning mate,
It just seems the easiest thing to change first

. I will check the other things first to try an pin point it.
One thing to add after a while of stopping an starting the engine while out driving it will be sluggish to start.

Might want to check your fuel pressure regulator then. Suspect it's too different problems.

this is now sorted after changing brake pads on front.

The other day however was driving 70 odd and then it started to lose power. I pulled over, and it started again was ok, but took it easy till i got to work.
Shoppinit you mentioned killing the mafs with filter oil? Is that the ITG ones? Didn't realise they have oil in them.
I did clean the mafs with special maf cleaner.
Could it be an ECU problem?

Yeah, the ITG foam filters are exactly designed for oil.
IIRC “as shipped”, they are dry though? I have one on the LR.
But if you run them dry, your filtering is basically only to stop small children being sucked in. And if you run them wet, your MAF dies.
IMVHO on our cars, paper filters are the right choice. It’s not like the old days where the paper filters were restrictive.

Yup. OE paper filters FTW. There's nothing to be gained on the C5 with any other type of filter. Except headaches.

Is it possible to strip the carbon canister an clean it out ?
I ve noticed it only brings the light on once the car has been idling for awhile an also when the weather is red hot like it is now.

Is there measuring blocks I can to help pinpoint the issue ?.
I have had my DIS replaced and I can select groups while driving.

There is some stuff in block 70.
There's a basic setting for that group, too, which will start a test procedure.
Before doing anything, though, I would check that the solenoid is opening and closing (or at least trying to) using the output tests.

How do you perform the output tests ?
