All 4 done now.
Have to let it aligned shortly, feel a light shudder at about 65-70 kmh, didnt have that before the shocks swap.
Drove it with the 2 fronts being replaced, no shudder, so it has to be (one of) the 2 rears.
If you can't go to the track, bring the track to you.

Yeah, best bet will be to get it aligned Mav. Good work.
Have you checked your wheels are on the hubs properly?

Good point, i will check the rears for that
Worst case the rear tyres are "used to" no working shocks...and wear uneven...
There was not even a single drop of oil from the rear drc lines, the fronts a bit.

Regarding the alignmend, what to look out for?
Does every brand and model has its own specs?
Is it something that can be done right at kwikfit or some tyre Shop or do i have to look for a specialist?

Go to a good tyre Shop. The specs I think are in the faq section, if not have a search cause they are in here somewhere Mav.

Thinking about getting my alu bits (except the mirror caps...) painted (gloss or silo gloss) black and the rims a dark grey or something.
Anyone painted the alu bits while on the car? (Not plastidip, although tempted because of removability...)

Terrible idea. The aluminium bits are what make the RS6 unique.

...those f.cking Belgian roads are desastreus, in and around Antwerp my front bumper hit the road numerous times:(
And the 6 isnt lowered...
Sometimes even slalom around major potholes, when i would drive over them, i defenately ruin my rims and tyres going 120kmh...not to mention the suspension...
Glad we made it home in daylight.
Next time we take the Vulva 940 2.0 Turbo aka the tank.

You what Mav.
You found disastrous roads in Antwerp.
I thought the worst roads are British roads.
Then again I hardly ever drive abroad.
Certainly where I live (east coast) the roads are generally very poor at best.
Hope you got away with it and didn’t damage the front bumper. And your alloys and tyres are not too bad on closer inspection.

“Next time taking the vulva”
Will keep my thoughts to myself.

Just get all the silver bits wrapped in black. I think they look a little more aggressive when done.

Maybe its just me, but that treatment makes the car look more modern..
