I happen to have a pair in the stores, since my fitted cables are on their way out - but they can stay in place until they fail an MOT and won't adjust.
I bought them preemptively as I will need them, so I'm afraid I won't let them go - however happy to photo/measure to help find an alternative solution that works for you.

Very close to the ones on autodoc then. Sounds positive.

Ordered some COFLE brand ones instead. They are showing as compatible with the car and are also listed as compatible elsewhere. God knows how long they will take to arrive.

I find autodoc is usually about a week. Keep us posted how they fit.

Having checked with Autodoc none of their cables are actually compatible! They do a VIN check and it's not but the VRN says they are so what's the point of actually using that?! Great.

The correct part number is apparently 4B0 609 721 P. Which is bizarre as every time I do a search I find the exact same sodding list of cables that is for that part number which apparently doesn't fit.

There are others of exactly the same length though.

What a total pain in the backside.

Might be less bother to cobble together a Heath Robinson EPB system with some motors and a flick switch.

It might be the exact same cable. Despite it saying it’s incompatible. Try it. It’s not expensive.

It says the Valeo cam adjuster I recommend isn’t compatible, but I know it is. Give it a go.

Are the cables different for the Saloon and Avant?

Tried a UK based place. Compatibility issues again. Ebay Shop says one fits and their own website presents another. Searching on reg and car make/model is coming up with different answers to VRN search with the same make and model. VIN search is different again. There's definitely something weird with the parts catalog.

Have ordered what their website says as that's different to anything listed on Autodoc. It's probably wrong.

Really need an original parts diagram with original part numbers and cable lengths.

The UK based supplier have guaranteed fitment so if they're wrong then they will fully refund. That's for 1925mm ones so we'll see. Hopefully they will arrive on Monday.

Handbrake cables did actually fit. Bought from Parts In Motion in Exeter.

https://www.partsinmotion.co.uk/ Best to search with registration and also enter that in the box when ordering as that makes sure the fitment is correct.
