I think the title says it all.
Seems the 6 keeps on giving me reasons to spend money.
I realised I have no idea if a repaired MICHELIN P-SP 4 S is good enough for a car like this.
Would anyone have any concerns?
If so, I keep it as a spare?
Or, it can be repaired and I'll be all good to drive as I want......(not that I actually drive fast)
Cheers

It wouldn’t worry me if it was away from the sidewall.

It's probably 4 inches into the flat section from the front sidewall.
Great. Good to hear some good news.

I had 2 screws at different times in one of my tyres.
Always seems to be the rear offside on mine in the centre of the tyre.
I was told that I shouldn’t be overly concerned.
So as Shop says I wouldn’t worry too much.

Cool. It just so happens I'm booked in at the wheel&tyre place tomorrow so that is the silver lining I guess.
Thanks for the advice.

Wait til you hit a full house brick in the middle of the road.
Scary
Tyre split all the way across and the alloy was a total write off. The car in front of me missed it. I didn’t have any time to avoid it.
Thankfully that was on my old alloys.

That does sound scary. This and trucks losing their loads make for some scary moments!
fortunately, this wasn't so dramatic.
Eurotunnel agreed to supply me with two new rims after an incident on their train. In the end, I opted for a new tyre & rim to take on my (one-day) planned euro trips as a spare. i had that booked in today so just switched over to the new tyre and will get the punctured one fixed as the spare.
I decided to drop down to 40psi from 44. It makes such a difference when going over the Rotterdam city centre tram tracks!
All turned out well.
