Hardly ever have music on. Love to listen to the v8. To me that’s all the music I need.
Ps still cannot get over the pedal box fix.
What a transformation.
Best tip ever.

Also while fixing the cable ties I found a aftermarket alarm system that I didn’t know I had. And a small on off rocker switch. Need to find out what this is for.
Typical Rs6 behaviour. Solve 1 problem and find 2 others.

Car booked in at Neston for 06/07/21 for the two oil leaks.
Spoke to grizz about the pedal box fix.
Original bushes are plastic.
Repair was to use p b bushes.
Will see if I can get some bushes manufactured.
Apparently there is a long bolt that goes through the shaft which can be a pain to remove.
The factory lock tight it in.

When you remove your shaft, make sure you sufficiently polish it. Give it a liberal lubing then slam it back into your new tight Poosey Bush.

Still cannot get over the pedal box fix.
The drive is amazing. I just keep jumping in the car and going for a drive. It is that good that I just keep on going.
My fuel bill has quadrupled though.

Enquired about buying a second hand pedal box assy
So that we can make bushes
See if anything comes of it.

Hi Riggs. Spot on mate. Wouldn’t have expected the pedal box to be my problem.
20 min job and the cost of 5 cable ties and the end result is totally unbelievable.
However it has cost me £200 in fuel since the fix. As I just keep jumping in the car and going for a drive

Sorry to keep harping on about the pedal box fix.
For a 18 yo car i find it astonishing that it now drives like new.
I was always in love with this car. But now cannot keep out of her. Amazing. Best tip ever and cost less than a quid.
Just thank you to those involved.
