Well it was all worth it for dethroning the Bufkin.

Seriously Steve, what a great thing you've done. It makes me smile that there are still dedicated C5 owners and they're supporting each another... I burnt out with life and C5s but it's a movement and as these very cool cars get older, it becomes a way of life. POWAH to all of you.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Cheers bam. Yes it is a great community as you well know.
Any thoughts of you getting a tame c5.
By tame I mean standard compared to the all powerful one you had.
It’s great on here with like minded people who are all willing to share information about our amazing cars.
It never ceases to amaze me how we all help each other out.
And it’s also very good to have a laugh now and again.
I haven’t laughed as much as I have tonight for a long while.
Hope you are well and safe and much happier with your working life these days.
Ps let me know if your better half shouts out my name tonight ????????

UK Post has been on the ball and a "bufkin" pipe appeared today. Thanks Steve. I just grabbed a few "before and after" at the moment and will post later if there are any glaring differences.

Hi Tony. Pleased it arrived ok. And yes post office has been amazing with the deliveries.
Thank you mark-rs and your colleagues.
They do look very similar. So I am eager to get your feedback on any dimension differences.
They were made to the drawing / sizes you provided. Many thanks for that. We couldn’t have made them without your input.
Hope all is ok with them.
Ps. I was informed that viton o rings used to be brown. Apparently they are now black.
I have been assured that the o rings I fitted to the bufkin pipes are viton.

I Can send you a brass one with o rings installed.
I am keeping the plastic one as a pattern. Should the need arise to manufacture some more.
