Window outer aperture seals.

Post by steve2003rs6 » Sun May 16, 2021 1:21 pm

Does anyone know where new seals can be bought from. Mine have gone hard and look a bit grubby.
Outer seals bottom of windows
Would be really nice to have them replaced.

Thanks.... Now I've noticed mine have seen better days also ! In fact, now I can see a little green cropping in along the inner edge of mine and I can't un-see it !

Hi mark. Yes it’s annoying. My rear near side is the worse one.
But if I am doing one I might as well sort all of them ?
Still trying to source them.
I will speak to grizz next week and get his thoughts.

If these are the ones you're after, they are all available on Audi Tradition still. Getting them to the UK is the next issue from what I've seen.

Thanks lander. I will look into it.
Another member has purchased parts for me from Audi tradition previously.
Hopefully he will be kind enough to do it again.
Ps are the above part numbers correct.
3 parts with the same part number
1 part with a separate number.

Discussed this with grizz. The rear aperture seal is riveted on. So will take a while to get this one sorted.

If the seals are a bit manky then the gummipflege stuff is worth a go. That's supposed to be good at revitalising crap seals.
