OEM steering wheel badge
next on the list for the interior refresh is the steering wheel badge.
4B0419685B I think.
Audi Tradition don't carry them.
I see a lot on the internet, but am keen to get hold of a legitimate OEM badge.
Do they still exist?
Anyone had any success sourcing one?

Re: OEM steering wheel badge
I ordered an RS4 steering wheel badge (8D0419685A) from Crewe Audi a few weeks back - £29 incl. delivery
Think they were/are sponsors on here.
Might be worth dropping them a message.

Hi Alex. I bought one last year. Really good quality and a perfect fit. Think it was £55 ish.
If interested I will dig out the info.

Re: OEM steering wheel badge
Cheers Steve
I did see that but I am sceptical of most 'new' things on eBay. Many a used bargain to be found but I don't trust it.
In the end, Tom from Crewe Audi surprised me and found the last badge in the warehouse and sent it to me for GBP52.
That rounds off my interior nicely.
I also splashed out on the aluminium gear trim.... that was killer expensive from audi-tradition. I figured there's only so many out there, so now is the time.
The last part of the 'interior-refresh-puzzle' is the computer-navigation-unit (4B0919719E?). This one seems a harder to find item.
A mint version of this:

Nice one Alex. Yes the interior parts are getting very rare.
Thankfully I am really happy with mine now.
Having said that I do keep my eyes open to what becomes available.
Your Rs6 is really looking good from the photos you provided.

You don't want a telematics one with a UK car.

Re: OEM steering wheel badge
Thanks Steve. I'm very happy with it.
I need to refine the ride as it's a bit bumpy.
Shopp, my car was originally German so the image is what mine looks like.
I've seen different button configurations.
Did they have different systems?

Re: OEM steering wheel badge
Yeah, telematics was an option, but only in the EU, possibly only in Germany. If you're not using it (and I'm pretty sure it's defunct anyway) then you can get a regular one without the "tele" button. Telematics is easy to disable everywhere in VCDS.

Re: OEM steering wheel badge
That all makes sense.
I had a box of bits when I bought the car. Including the original Nokia/Audi phone.
I guess it is already some kind of vintage cool. One day I'll reinstall it.
I think I'll keep up the search for the Telematics version to keep it original. Now I understand why it has been hard to find!
