IIRC the accelerator has 2 pots in parallel in it. One that goes from 0-100% and the other that goes from 100%-0%. The aim being to detect incoherences in the electronic throttle system before it puts you through a wall.

Leaving that to the driver, instead.

So electrically setting up an alternate, whether hand or left foot, would be a piece of cake for Greg. :)

This ^^^^. Normally classed as Track 1 and Track 2, it's a safety thing.

How much practice did it take to "moderate" your left foot? Whenever I try, I end up stamping far too hard on the brakes.
FWIW, I always left foot brake in a auto and right foot brake in a manual and it just seems to be second nature. Surprising what you can adapt to if needed.

Hopefully that will be the case. In 10 to 15 years they might of caught up with what doctor Rudy Wells did to Steve Austin.
Couldn't resist this, bad TV ratings? Also 6 million then is worth a whole lot more now.

Still waiting on getting the ankle surgery done. In the mean time I asked Alex (Nubcake) if he could adjust the sensitivity of the accelerator pedal. What a legend he is. Did 4 different files for me. The last one is fantastic. Very controllable with less movement. The car also feels so much more responsive. Love it.
