I think the robbin bar stuards take enough off of us.
We should be charging them for all the damage to our cars caused by the <beep> roads we have to drive on.

Every site I’ve looked at seems to say that it will be £600. Eg:

https://www.theaa.com/driving-advice/dr ... #2001-2017
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

Oh, except this one:

https://www.webuyanycar.com/guides/car- ... tax-bands/
If you own a car that is registered before the 23rd March 2016, there is a maximum annual rate of £315, even if the vehicle's emissions are in the highest VEO band.
Ffs. Sites like autocar and the AA should be better at explaining than webuyanycar!

When I was looking into it I used the gov site and that said the tax bump wasn’t hitting us-the site it’s self is bloody confusing.

So even that WBAC link is wrong because it says 2016. FFS.

Lucky buggers - looks like mine's going up to £600!!
And the roads around here are worse than they've ever been....

The merged band K which only applied to a few years causes masses amount of confusion still.

It doesn’t really matter as my wife thinks my road tax is £150 per year and has been since I bought the car in 2012.
Thankfully no paper tax disc on the windscreen any more.
And hopefully she never visits this site.
