5 extra millimetres each side wouldn't protect your rims anyway.

Yes I get it now shopp. Especially after looking at the above info from anditsoundslikebells.
Didn’t realise going from 255 to 265 would change so much.
Put that one to bed now. Will have to be more careful when I am parking.
Thanks again

I find it’s less parking and more potholes recently. The rim protection from decent tyres always help

Don’t get me started on potholes. After 3 sets of alloys they are a significant pain in my rear ?
Did you get the track rods sorted ?

Back at work for 6 days then off to the Isle of Wight so it’s got to wait a bit. Will cover it in releasing agent and try it myself when I get back bud that fails will cut the sod out.

Pot holes are such a ball ache recently. My daily is a b8 A4 sline that runs the same size tyre as the RS. 255/35/19. So s line hard suspension and those tyres over potholes are crap. I’ve never kerbed it yet the wheels are all knocked from hitting potholes and catching the ends. I’ve just about worn out a set of Yokies which offered no lip protection at all. Going for some Uniroyals that will hopefully have a bit more

Went for my first proper drive out in over a year with a group of car enthusiasts the other night Helmsley to Blakey Ridge. There were 24 cars but we all split into groups of 6 due to covid. In my group there were 2 Porsches, Jag F Type and 2 Maclarens 570GT and 765LT. We stayed in file and had the odd burst but it was well run. The Maclarens stayed behind me and he did comment that he thought the RS was still a quick car and surprised that it was still mostly stock bar the suspension and a remap.

Do like the dark blue. You thought of a rear tint on the windows. Suit these well. A light smoke etc

I once had notions of tinted windows, aftermarket exhaust etc but after 11 years ownership I'm just happy if the car runs and is reliable so they just went down the list and got ignored.

First bimble out after months. Was expecting drama. Nothing happened. It's definitely up to something!

After nearly 3 weeks at the garage having Cambelt and service and possible rear caliper, I'm hoping to get mine back again tomorrow. Oh... Maxton front and rear splitters fitted also. A little worried about the rear, but I guess if I don't like it I'll just get it removed .

Beginning to wish I hadn't told them I wasn't in a rush and to take as long as they needed. I miss the damned thing !

accompanied or unaccompanied? Lots of rumours about driverless cars getting around.

Remember the pics when done, i had considered the rear spoiler part before but never made the purchase, would be good to see how it looks fitted
