If it's not too late, it's worth getting the 4S. I remember seeing a review where they compared them. There was a difference, but not the kind of difference you'd get between them and, say, Pirelli PZeros.

Had me wondering which ones I had fitted so went out and checked. Pilot sport 4S
Currently on 255x35x19
However the 255 does not provide any protection for the rims. The rims are 19x9j et35
When they come up for renewal was considering going to 265.
But I haven’t looked in to it too much as the tyres on at the moment are fairly new.

It was too late. They were just fitting them. Found out the tracking issue. A seized bolt for rear toe. According to them has been like it for ages so they clearly didn’t adjust it last year and kept their mouth shut. The other place have refused to honour their work. So a new rear tie rod and bolt should sort it so I can track it correctly this time

Well, that review should reassure you that the PS4 is still pretty good.

I wouldn't. It'll change your rolling radius. Just avoid curbs. :)

Hi shopp. Yeah having just had my ally’s fully refurbed and diamond cut after curbing them. I was just wondering if I could get them a bit of protection.
Will leave them on 255 as you recommend. Your knowledge is far superior to mine. Thank you for your advice.

Similar to yours. Mine were seized and could not be undone. So just had them replaced followed by tracking adjusted.
You could also try carparts4less

I also have the P-SP 4 S 255/35ZR19 following Shop's advice.
I have a wider rim at 9.5 x 19ET40.
I've also been considering switching to 265 when the time comes.
Interestingly when I check on will-they-fit there is no difference in diameter using the 255/35 tyre on a 9.0 vs 9.5.
In my mind this can't be right?
Also, if I were to switch to the 265 I'd get the below difference.
Would this in any damage the vehicle?

Exactly. Also have to remember the knob on the front suspension upright and clearance.
