Did a longer run. Now discovered rear brakes are red hot on one side. I should probably just drive to the local indy first trip and get them to unstick everything they unstuck in the service months before

I had a seized rear caliper. Overheated the brake fluid causing total loss of brakes.
Change of underwear moment.
Car was ok on short runs
But after a while on long runs zero brakes.

It's lucky the recaros are hose clean!

Booked in already. Also it's doing the faint oil whiff again so they may as well check that out at the same time.

Just change the caliper. Cheap as chips.

Yes Shop that’s what they did to mine. Not had a problem since.
As you say. Rear calipers cheap to replace.

Well cheap for rs. Not cheap for rear calliper and pads in comparison to other cars. But I didn’t expect any less.

I did replace a caliper the other year. Hopefully it's not the same one what's failed.

Apparently not. Replaced the other one exactly 3 years ago.

Caliper sorted. Got away with only doing that and not needing discs/pads as I spotted it early. Shame it's got a gearbox and engine oil leak. Arse.

Tie rods bushes swapped out with polly. New bolts and anti roll bar swapped for polly as well. All tracked and back on the road. Feels so planted now
