Hi all, I couldn't find anything on this forum, but one thing I really miss about newer cars is tap to pass indicators/signal lights.
I've got a VW kit already, have had it for ages to put on my W126. But I'm wondering if it may be able to fit on the RS. Are there any boffins in this forum who may confirm if this is possible?
Here's the link from the merc forum.

Update:
I managed to get it working. Tried and tried to do it myself via the hazard light switch, but deciphering the VW and Audi wiring diagrams was a bit too far.
Here's the write up I ended up using:

Ive hardwired the wires in and wrapped/secured using the same fabric insulation and loom tape as used in our cars
Relay wiring tail runs back with the main steering column looms with the relay secured under the dash.
It was finicky soldering in the wires to the indicator stalk, with some.of the existing loom tape cut back to give more working room.
Whole setup looks factory, and it works perfectly.
